Background
Breathe is a kinetic wall installation that mimics the state of calm. When placed in a room where people are normally filled with anxiety and unease, it can encourage soothing, rhythmic breathing.

Prototyping Movement
The first prototypes involved using servo motors connected to an Arduino. With these, each servo was attached to one moving object.
A second attempt involved using filament to pull forward and a wire clothespin mechanism to spring back.
The final movement involves a hinge and filament pulling from either end.
